Points are calculated as follows:
1st Place = 12 points
2nd Place = 10 points
3rd Place = 8 points
4th Place = 6 points
5th Place = 4 points
6th and following = 2 points
Participation/Show up points are given if the racer attempted to race (pulled to the line) even if no time was given = 2 points
Racers who have participated in all the races for the year for that class will earn an additional 12 points at the end of the year.
The racer with the fastest time for the year will earn an additional 12 points at the end of the year.
Racers have to participate in at least 1/2 the races for the year to qualify for points.
